What's the booking and move-in service?

Booking & Move-in Service

The Booking & Move-in Service is a required one-time payment of $3,000 that confirms your room.

It includes:

  • Room reservation: We secure your selected room and prepare your booking.
  • Welcome kit: Includes a T-shirt, tote bag, sweater, thermo/cup and cap or bucket hat, depending on availability.
  • Airport pickup: Transportation from the airport to your new home.
  • Trips and Community Pass discounts: Get up to 15% off selected trips and $500 pesos for the pass.
  • Welcome event: In Guadalajara, welcome pool party with food and drinks. In CDMX, Xochimilco trajineras with open bar.
  • Tee-shirt
  • Sweater
  • Bag or Tote bag
  • Thermo or Cup

Contract Specifications

Contract Specifications

The minimum rental agreement length is 5 months from January 1st to May 31st (or from January 1st to June 30th) and from August 1st to December 31st. You can arrive at the house starting July 25th at no extra cost.

The rental agreement has to be signed in the seven days after your booking.

The first month of rent must be paid no later than the 15/07/24. The last month of rent has to be paid at your arrival at the house. For the remaining months, the rents are paid every 1st of the month in cash to a Conexion member.

The security deposit must be paid in the seven days after your booking ($5,000 pesos MXN). At the end of your stay you will get back the deposit, as long as you pay the minimum 5 months of contract. To get back your security deposit you have to give back your room cleaned and in the same conditions as you received it after paying the 5 months of rent.

Cancellations

Cancellations

We understand that choosing a room in a new country can be a difficult choice to make. And we know that there can be special circumstances that could change your plans before coming into your new house. These next points, explain the process for any cancellations and the costs it implies.

1.-Cancellations within the first 5 days after you made your reservation payment.

During this 5-days period you can contact us and ask for a cancellation, we will analyze your case and the full amount may be refund.

2.-Cancellations after the first 5 days after you made your reservation payment.

If you decide to cancel your room after the first 5 days of your reservation, the payment of the reservation fee is not refundable.

3.-Cancellations after your arrival.

If you decide to cancel your booking after you have signed your contrat or after you have moved into your room, you are tied to the terms of the agreement on which you decided to participate. This means that the payment of the reservation fee, the security deposit and the first and last month of the rent are not refundable.

Every room includes basic furniture such as: Bed, Mattress, Closet or wardrobe, Desk, Chair, Internet access. Most houses also include fully equipped common areas, kitchen, laundry facilities and furnished living spaces.
Yes. Utilities such as water, electricity, gas and Wi-Fi are included, subject to our fair-use policy.
Our team will meet you at the airport and take you directly to your new home. Before your arrival, we'll contact you to confirm your flight details and meeting point.
Yes. You may request a cancellation within the first 5 days after paying the Booking & Move-in Service. After this period, the fee becomes non-refundable. Once you have signed the rental agreement or moved into the house, cancellation is subject to the terms of your contract.
