1. Introduction

These Terms govern the use of Conexion México Housing and every reservation made through the website. By using the website or completing a booking you agree to these Terms.

2. About Conexion México

Conexion México provides furnished rooms in shared houses in Guadalajara and Mexico City. Our objective is to provide a safe, organized and community-oriented housing experience.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate information and comply with Mexican law and community rules.

4. Booking Process

Step 1: Choose your room. Step 2: Pay the mandatory Booking & Move-in Service. Step 3: Receive confirmation by email. Availability is not guaranteed until payment is completed.

5. Booking & Move-in Service

The mandatory Booking & Move-in Service (currently $3,000 MXN) includes: room reservation, welcome kit, airport pickup, sheets & pillows, discounts on Conexion trips, Guadalajara Welcome Pool Party or CDMX Xochimilco experience, and arrival assistance. The fee is separate from monthly rent and is required to secure the room.

6. Rental Agreement

A rental agreement must be signed within 7 days after booking. Standard contracts follow semester periods (January–May and August–December). Arrival outside these dates is subject to availability.

7. Payments

Residents are responsible for the Booking & Move-in Service, security deposit, monthly rent and any additional agreed charges. Payment deadlines are defined in the rental agreement. Late payments may generate administrative fees.

8. Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit of $5,000 MXN is required. It is refunded after checkout if the contract length stay has been completed, there are no unpaid balances and the room is returned clean and without damage. The security deposit can be refunded up to 21 days after checkout.

9. Cancellations

Cancellation requests submitted within five (5) days after payment will be reviewed under the Cancellation Policy. After this period the Booking & Move-in Service becomes non-refundable. Once the rental agreement signed, cancellations are governed by that agreement.

10. Availability & Room Assignment

Photos and room layouts are representative. Minor differences may exist. If the selected room becomes unavailable before confirmation, an equivalent room or refund will be offered.

11. House Rules

Residents must respect roommates, visitors policy, cleanliness, quiet hours, smoking policy, common areas and community guidelines. Serious breaches may lead to termination of the agreement.

12. Liability

Conexion México is not liable for visa denials, airline delays, force majeure events, personal belongings or internet interruptions outside its reasonable control.

13. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, graphics, photography and text belong to Conexion México unless otherwise stated.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Any disputes shall be resolved before the competent Mexican authorities unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
